The A Medici Christmas greetings card was inspired by the Benozzo Gozzoli frescoes in the Medici Chapel in Florence. I love the contrived pattern-rich landscapes and took them as my starting point in making my own version. As ever I like to include something living in the scene - this time it's a badger padding its way through the snow. These collectable cards are high quality reproductions of my original hand painted artwork. Look carefully and you can spot a plume of smoke coming from the house.
