The joys of flying a kite are one of the most simple and lively pleasures you’ll experience. Do you remember the first time you flew one, watching it lift off and glide gracefully into the sky? That is what I have created here through my handmade wire sculpture of the kite flying boy. He is reveling in the success of his kite taking flight. My intention for this artwork is to bring happiness into your space. I’ve crafted it in a free-form way using galvanized wire and colored aluminum wire to give the appearance that this kite is flying above. It measures 40 cm (16 inches) from top to bottom, making it a perfect addition to your home. Let it bring a cheerful feeling to you in any room, or give it as a gift to someone who needs to be lifted up.
