Our Threads is more than a card game - it’s an invitation to connect. Whether you're playing with friends, family, classmates, or coworkers, the thought-provoking prompts inspire deep conversations, storytelling, and genuine moments of connection, inviting players of all ages to share and listen deeply. ORIGIN STORY In February 2022, refugee students from Fugees Family, Inc. gathered for an iThrive Studio to design a game that supports refugee students resettling in towns and cities across the U.S. The refugee students who co-created Our Threads shared that people rarely asked them real questions - or saw them beyond assumptions. This game was born from their insight: we’re more alike than we think. The prompts encourage empathy, break down barriers, and remind us of stories that connect us all. Note: Includes instructions for play at home, in classrooms, and in afterschool settings. Play with as few as two players or as many as an entire classroom.
