This is a functional, domestic art product made in collaboration with Kusama, and is only available in art museums and exclusive design stores around the world. About the Artist Yayoi Kusama creates fantastical paintings using patterns of polka dots and nets as motifs. Her works spans a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, performance, film and immersive installation. Kusama was born in the Nagano Prefecture of Japan in 1929. She travelled to the United States in 1957 where she showed huge paintings, soft sculptures and environmental art employing mirrors and electric lights.
