CORNICELLO “Tuosto, stuorto e cu a’ punta” - tough and twisted at the tip Originally carved by artisans in Naples Italy, this horn-shaped pendant was, and still is by many, believed to offer protection from the evil eye, to ward off bad luck. It is also believed by many to promote fertility and virility. There are many stories about where this shape originated, and its symbolism, ranging from roots in Italy as well as Greek and Roman mythology.
