Description
Who Lives Here? is an interactive, illustrated children’s book that explores the northeastern temperate mixed and broadleaf forests of North America. Each spread features a mysterious animal track that leads to the discovery of an amazing local animal who lives in the forest. Through hand crafted cut-out illustration and charming rhymes, children are introduced to early animal tracking and species identification skills, habitats, and common animal behaviors. Whether it’s a fox, bobcat, or opossum, every footprint is a step into the magic of nature. Included Animal Species have relatively easy prints to identify: white-tailed deer, coyote, red fox, moose, American mink, striped skunk, opossum, wild turkey, garter snake, bobcat, porcupine. 32 full color pages with illustrations. *Strong in-person sales at a juried makers market I was a vendor at in Portland, Maine. *Parents report repeat reading and strong engagement!
