I was informed by an exhibitor that the cloth bucket was laid on the ground by soldiers taking showers outside. This was hard to believe but I was attracted to its shape anyways. A few years later, when we talked about making a bed for pets, I remembered that cloth military bucket and used it as inspiration to create our own. The fabric was reused from tents sold by the military. After attaching rope and sewing it together, we washed it to look like well worn old jeans. Color and design will be assorted. By using recycled materials and hand made processes, PUEBCO imbues these objects with the feel of many lifetimes and a sense of history that makes each piece unique.
