Description
A conventional skirt is being reinterpreted in a modern way, suited for both formal and casual-smart wear. It is inspired by C.Brancusi’s ‘ The Endless Column ’. A seemingly simple sculpture in terms of shape and material but with great value and influence - hence the choice of fabric. It is further adorned with a total of 16 fringes flowing from the fake pockets as a representation of the 16 complete rhomboids. A versatile piece conveying traditionalism, heritage with carefully-crafted modern details. Name : Burmese origins, meaning to overcome ( which hopefully fits also the Burmese people).
