Since 1975, Neocolor™ II Aquarelle has established itself as a staple in the Fine Arts category. It originated from a specific request: Neocolor™ I, a permanent wax pastel favored by educators and artists such as Picasso and Mirò, has one drawback: it adheres so well that it leaves a permanent mark on tables. In response, Caran d’Ache created a water-soluble version, and Neocolor™ II Aquarelle was born.
