Slight variations in bead placement, wire shaping, and coil tension are part of the handmade process and are intentionally preserved to give each piece its own character. The story behind these rings began over 20 years ago after my mom lost a simple black-and-white pearl ring she loved. At the time, replacing something unique wasn’t as simple as searching online, so I started teaching myself wirework in hopes of recreating something with that same sentimental feeling. What began as a personal creative challenge eventually evolved into my signature ring style and the beginning of Don’t Eat Beads. Today, every ring is still individually designed and hand coiled one at a time. I intentionally avoid making pieces feel overly manufactured because I want each design to retain the warmth and individuality that first inspired me to create them.
