This vintage book cover notebook is bound with a soft cover, with 48 pages of lined, fountain pen friendly paper that's acid-free for archival quality. The inner cover features marbled end papers and a bookplate, and the history of the book cover is displayed on the back cover. The design of this vintage notebook is taken from the cover of a French edition of Leon Tolstoy's work, ENFANCE ET ADOLESCENCE, especially intended for young people. It was illustrated by Benett and G. Roux, but the cover designer is unknown. This edition was published by BIBLIOTHEQUE D'EDUCATION ET DE RECREATION in Paris, 1886. This product was custom designed and created at our location in Seattle.
