Brass Letterpress Necklace These were originally used on hand-cranked printing presses, each piece of type used in these necklaces were worn out ever so slightly by normal printing use. Each letterpress piece is gently cleaned and polished and have age appropriate imperfections which add to the nostalgic value of each letter. Please note that my camera, with the extreme close ups, picks up tiny flaws that are not visible to the naked eye, however I feel that any imperfections are part of the vintage feel. These letterpress letters are made from solid brass so there is no lead in them and are perfectly safe for everyday wear. Each letter measures 7/8" length, 5/16" wide by 1/4" deep and is suspended from a gunmetal rope chain which contrasts the piece nicely and is secured with a lobster clasp.
