Description
Featuring richly printed Italian paper by Tassotti, these earrings depict Death (XIII) and The Devil (XV) from the Tarot de Marseille — one of the earliest known tarot decks, first emerging in Northern Italy and later beloved in 17th–18th century France. This dramatic pairing unites two of the most misunderstood cards in the Major Arcana. Death represents release, transformation, and profound change — a clearing of what no longer serves. The Devil reveals the illusions that bind us — temptation, fear, and material attachment — urging liberation through awareness. Together, they embody endings that lead to freedom, courage to confront shadow, and the rebirth that follows surrender. Each pair is handmade with authentic Tassotti paper, sealed in resin, suspended from bronze chain, and finished with gold-fill ear wires. Approx. length 2¾″. This is a made-to-order item — please allow 5–7 days for production before shipping.
