This is a set of 19 postcards of New York City / Manhattan map prints. Each one is based on a hand-cut, paper-cut created by me. The colors of the neighborhoods are all part of the color wheel: The West Village is all in red, the Upper West Side is in yellow, yellow-green, and yellow-orange. Sugar Hill is all in shades of white, and Midtown is in primary tones (inspired by a Mondrian piece hanging in MoMA on 53rd Street!) The neighborhoods include: West Village East Village Murray Hill Chinatown Lower East Side SoHo Tribeca Harlem Times Square Spanish Harlem Hell's Kitchen Upper West Side Upper East Side Little Italy Inwood Manhattanville Midtown Morningside Heights Each postcard is size A6 (105mm X 140mm or 4 1/8" x 5 7/8") My work has appeared in Henri Bendel's, Renegade Craft Fairs, Unique LA, and Rare Device in San Francisco.
