Wholesale Vallauris-style ceramic catchall with brown-red tortoiseshell glaze

This glazed ceramic catchall is fully in keeping with the Vallauris aesthetic of the 1950s to 1970s. The tortoiseshell glaze, an intense reddish-brown with honey-yellow drips on the inner rim and a reddish-brown–white marbled effect, is characteristic of this production. The exterior base remains in unglazed cream biscuit. The shape is organic and sculpted, with a serrated edge of irregular points evoking a shell or a leaf, and a side knob. Length approximately 16 cm, width approximately 13 cm. In very good condition, glaze fully preserved, no chips. On a console or bedside table it catches the light with the amber warmth typical of Vallauris ceramics.
