An artichoke drawn in fine hand-painted brushwork on white porcelain. Part of our Garden collection, this botanical plate brings the farmers market to the table. Each plate is painted by hand in colored mineral underglazes, applied to the porous bisqueware in quick, watercolor-like strokes, then sealed beneath a clear glaze and fired until the surface turns to glass. Every brushstroke is applied by hand, so no two plates are alike.
