Description
Boutargue, Poutargue or Bottarga are terms used in mediterranean countries for cured mullet roe. Our boutargue is made with wild mullet roe fished sustainaibly and traditionaly by the indigenous people of Mauritania. It is then processed with natural ingredients only: Spring water, seasalt and sun. This boutargue is then infused with Harissa from Tava Hada Pilpelta! Boutargue is also known as Adamhout, 烏魚子, Karasumi, Karasugyoko, カラスミ, からすみ, 唐墨, 鰡子, 鱲子. Shelf life: 4 to 6 months. Best if kept in a cool place. Refrigerate after opening.
