Description
Revived from the Paula Skene Designs archives is this "bring back" originally in our line in 1993. The card is based on Esther Howland's First American Valentine done in 1849 and from The Art Institute of Chicago's archives. The original artwork was paper lace with cut flower appliqués and woven paper. We've brought the artwork to life with foil stamping, embossing, and die cutting to create the feeling of lace on the paper. I've ordered from Paula Skene several times, and each time I'm blown away by the beauty and quality of their designs. The cards are incredibly well-made, the foil stamping and embossing is especially impressive.

I cannot recommend these beautiful cards more highly, they are exceptional. The designs, the craftmanship, they are worth every penny. Also, the delivery is super quick and they are packaged really well.
