Toile de Jouy — the fine engraved pastorals printed at Jouy-en-Josas from the 1760s — gave the French interior its most enduring pattern. L'Oiseau Toile takes the bird as its subject, set loose across the classic scenic ground. The placemat is a tear-away pad: each sheet pulls cleanly from the binding, is used for the meal, and is replaced without ceremony.
