This country was once on the ancient Silk Road and has preserved many traditions such as weaving and rug making. The Ketene fabric is handwoven on a 40 centimeter loom to this day. A modern twist is the addition of metallic threads, giving it a beautiful shimmer in the light. Much sturdier than classic silk, this fabric makes a wonderful bow tie.
