A double-sided OPEN / CLOSED door sign carved from solid wood — not MDF, not acrylic. One side reads OPEN, the other CLOSED: the shopkeeper simply flips it on its adjustable rope. The letters are raised (3D-carved) and hand-colored on both faces, so the sign stays legible from across the street and never peels like printed or vinyl signs.
