Description
This piece depicts a moment from the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk". It was inspired by the work of Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, a member of the Glasgow Four who were pioneers in the Scottish version of Art Nouveau, and influential on other artists, like Klimt. This hand-made greeting card features a giant beanstalk on the left with the small figure of a boy climbing it at the bottom. Circles of gold coins surround him. Above and beyond him is a landscape with a blue sky and clouds at the top. Green "foil" leaves are scattered across the beanstalk. This card is perfect for those interested in storytelling, fairytales, and depictions of classics done in new ways. This card comes with a brown kraft paper envelope.
