Like all our Kyrgies, these oh-so-soft house shoes form part of a centuries-old history of craftsmanship. In this case, these slippers stem from techniques traditionally used for weaving heavy woolen rugs and are handmade by a women’s cooperative located in the remote Alay Valley of southern Kyrgyzstan.
