Inside the lamp is a 15cm tube and lampholder so the bulb is positioned low, thus allowing directed light. Designed in our studio and woven by hand with veta vera, a naturally durable grass, using a traditional basket weaving technic from Bolgatanga, in the north of Ghana. The vases are woven over two days by an association of weavers who have honed their art to make our contemporary shapes.
