“A Compendium of Wild Animals in the United States” is a sustainably printed screen-print (16”x20”), featuring 51 hand-drawings of wild animals that live in the diverse regions of the United States. Each animal is labeled with a state or federal district. In some cases, the animals represent endemic and unique species to a certain area. In other cases, the decision was informed by the artist’s personal experiences and curiosity. This collection is just a small representation of the variable wildlife in these areas. The print is a celebration and reminder of the diversity and ecological richness of the nature and wildlife in the United States. On the backside of the packaging, each print arrives also with a separate info sheet that allows one to see the names of each species. The print will make a thoughtful addition to any space it is added. It has an enduring quality and can grow with a child from a nursery and a kid's room to the dorm room and first apartment. Or, it can offer joy on the various walls of home and, for example, welcome one home at the entryway. The production of this print is located completely in Vermont; it is hand-drawn by the owner of As Little Cooking as Possible®, Elisa, and custom screen-printed on high quality and thick (100lb) American-made paper at the local screen printing company.
