I am the Thar Desert Salt, a true gift of nature and a relic from long past times. My origin is as fascinating as my purity: I come from the Thar Desert, a region on the border between India and Pakistan that was once covered by the ocean. Today, mineral-rich salt deposits and brine water veins, fed by the Arabian Sea, are found here. During the hot summer months with temperatures of up to 50 degrees, the water of the salty lakes evaporates, leaving behind crystalline salt deposits – that is my origin. I am gently extracted, sieved, and packaged unchanged. My natural mineral diversity is fully preserved, and I am free from any impurities of modern civilization.
