Coal Creek leather goods are handmade in our small studio outside rainy Seattle, WA. Our process starts with premium American full grain leather from renowned tanneries in the country- Horween in Chicago, IL or Wickett & Craig in Curwensville, PA. We then cut, assemble, stitch, and finish products in our studio. We take pride in our stitching quality- straight stitches, consistent stitch length, and a thread tension that is just right. Last step is sanding edges, beveling them round, and burnishing them one at a time to a perfect sheen. We then pack and ship them out from Pacific Northwest to wherever you are around the World.
