Wholesale Organic & Fairtrade IGP Darjeeling Himalaya Black Tea

Our exceptional organic black tea, nicknamed the champagne of teas, comes to us from Darjeeling tea plantations, at the foot of the Himalayas, in India. Darjeeling tea gardens benefit from the IGP (protected geographical indication). This tea is grown and harvested manually by small local producers. It is a green tea that has been completely oxidised. Oxidation allows for better preservation. It is produced mainly using two traditional and ancestral methods, which have not changed since the 19th century: the “Orthodox method” and the “CTC”. It helps fight against aging, diabetes, cholesterol. A source of calcium, it is also beneficial for bones. It is a product from organic farming, certified by FR-BIO-10.
