It’s been studied the further North you go, the higher chaga’s medicinal compounds get: mainly polysaccharides and triterpenes. That’s why our chaga comes from Lapland, Finland. You can be rest assured you have the strongest polysaccharide and triterpene content of any chaga product. To extract chaga, we use industry leading Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology: the UAE methodology breaks down the mushroom cell wall made of chitin. Chitin is a strong material that can be partially broken with alcohol extraction, but to fully extract those precious compounds in chaga f.ex. triterpenes, we need technology.
