About the Dragos Blanket — Uses, Fabric & Care ▾ A striped linen–cotton throw in turquoise, yellow, grey and navy on cream, finished with chunky multicoloured tassels. It is the most colourful thing we weave at this size — bought as a statement piece rather than a neutral, and usually the reason a plain sofa suddenly looks finished. Where it gets used * Sofa throw. Enough colour to anchor a neutral room, light enough to actually use rather than arrange. * Bed runner. Across the foot of a bed, or as a full cover on a warm night. * Picnic and beach. Flat-woven, so sand and grass shake straight off. * Travel. Folds far smaller than a wool blanket — it goes in the car or the case without argument. Why linen and cotton Linen gives the weave body and strength; cotton keeps it soft against the skin. Together they make a blanket you can machine wash without ceremony, that breathes in summer instead of trapping heat, and that softens with every wash rather than felting or going thin. Care Machine wash cool, tumble dry low, no bleach and no fabric softener. Wash with like colours for the first couple of cycles. Shake the tassels while damp so they dry straight.
