Wholesale Bees Wax for Wood, Crystals & Soapstone

Zanzibar's own blend of Organic Bees Wax from California and Food Safe Mineral Oil. Available in 1, 2 or 4 & 8 fluid ounce tins. This creamy bees wax is perfect for finishing wood products such as our Oliveood line of Salad Server Sets, Bowls, Cutting Boards and other wooden items as well as for creating a shine on Soapstone and many crystals! (Dry looking crystals such as fluorite or quartz will shine and sparkle with a tiny amount rubbed on their surface!) Recommended to be used AFTER our Food Safe Wood Oil (sold separately) on wooden items. Packaging includes recycled and recyclable paper labels and aluminum tins. How to Use on Olivewood: After applying our Food Safe Wood Oil, allowing it to penetrate for 12-48 hours, and wiping it with a soft, dry cloth, apply a liberal amount of Wood Wax (a sponge, soft cloth or small paint brush works well) and again let penetrate and or dry for 12-48 hours then buff with a soft cloth. We recommend applying to wood on average of once per month or when it's drying out (depending on use). Never allow wood items to soak in water, never place wood items in a dishwasher and avoid using dish soaps on wood items. How to Use on Soapstone: If minor scratches are present, use dry erase markers to match the color. After 24 hours apply a small amount of our wax, allow to dry then buff to a bright shine with a soft cloth. You may wish to repeat. How to Use on Crystals: Apply a small amount to dry looking crystals (quartz, fluorite, etc) and allow to sit for a few minutes then wipe off any excess and polish the crystal with a soft cloth. Measured by volume and not weight. Not recommended for direct human use even tho all ingredients are food safe. Wax and or oil may stain clothing - we recommend using gloves and and apron when applying.
