Description
This special table lamp was made from an original Henkel vase by Bay Keramik in the 1960s in Germany (base mark present). Typical West German Pottery. The embossed pattern is by Bodo Mans, one of the most influential ceramic designers of the 1960s. The vase is glazed in an intense petrol blue, which appears particularly vibrant due to the geometric relief decor. Wired through a discreet outlet sleeve, the cable leads directly into a brass-colored socket – technically tested and ready for immediate use. The lamp features a new E27 socket and a two-phase double-insulated cable for up to 250 volts connection. The lamp is also backward compatible with an E26 bulb and suitable for a 120-volt connection. The handmade lampshade made of a sturdy cotton canvas fabric in rich autumn tones with a floral pattern perfectly complements the vase and emphasizes the mid-century character of this unique piece. 📏 Dimensions: Total height approx. 60 cm, vase height 25 cm, shade Ø 25 cm, shade height 32 cm 🔌 With cable, ready to use ✨ Condition: Very good, minimal signs of wear on the vintage body A decorative unique piece with collector's value that perfectly combines mid-century design and warm coziness. Price includes shade.
