Takuko White Shoyu is a rare ingredient with a long tradition in Japan. Soybeans are added late in the brewing process to keep the color a light, almost clear amber, while giving the Shoyu a thinner texture and more nuanced flavor than dark shoyu. Takuko White Shoyu elevates without overwhelming. USES Traditionally used by the most discerning chefs to protect the color of lighter sauces and broths or to brush on the most delicate delicate sashimi, this shoyu can be used wherever you're using regular soy sauce for a much more subtle effect. Drizzle on grilled fish or mushrooms fresh from the bbq (or any of your favorite grilled foods.)
