Crafted with sustainability in mind, our ribbons are hand-torn, plant-dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools in our Detroit studio. Each ribbon is unique due to the natural color variations created by the plant-dyeing process. The lightweight silk material creates a beautiful drape, making it perfect for wrapping bouquets, invitations, or for styling. We take pride in using sustainability-conscious practices in our production process. We limit water wastage and recycle greywater for plant watering, and work with restaurants to collect food waste to create beautiful dyes from onion skins and avocado pits. All plant material is composted after dyeing. To care for your ribbon, simply steam and hand-roll it onto the wooden spool before use.
