Each tablet of GSE Folic Acid Compact contains 400 μg of folic acid. This corresponds to 200% of the reference quantity according to Regulation (EC) 1196/2011 for an adult human. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends 400 μg of folic acid for women who wish to have children and pregnant women. This means that just one tablet a day covers this recommendation. Folic Acid Compact uses only organically grown ingredients and, like the entire Phyto Vitamins product range, Folic Acid Compact only contains vitamins that are obtained directly from plants and standardized. In addition to the naturally occurring vitamins, the organic plant extract used also contains the naturally occurring secondary plant substances. These herbal accompanying substances also support the usability of natural folic acid.
