SITUATION The vines are located on the soils of the village of Solutré-Pouilly, at the foot of the famous “Roche de Solutré” at the southern tip of the Maconnais wine region. It is clay soil. GRAPE VARIETY 100% Chardonnay WINEMAKING AND AGING Traditional vinification with pneumatic pressing, long fermentation at low temperature. Finally, aging in casks on fine lees for a few months. TASTING NOTES With a white gold color with silver reflections, it is a dry, supple and fruity wine. Beautiful notes of citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon...) and a slight hint of acidity. FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS Serve at 11/12°C as an aperitif, but also with various salads, grilled fish and even sushi or goat cheese.
