“Florina” is a popular Romanian girl’s name meaning flower and the Florina folk embroidery kit evokes a little stitched garden. Graceful branches alternate with stylized carnations and bluebells in a trellis framework. This design creates a charming small table mat or can be used for a cushion cover or wall hanging. Kit includes: 26ct 100% cotton Traditional Groundcloth in white, DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss, John James size 24 needle, full color charts and instructions. Finished size (exclusive of finishing):8.5 x 11.5" Stitch count: 111 x 143sts/5241 cross stitches Please note: the drawn thread hem finishing shown in the photos has to be done after the design is stitched; the fabric in your kit will come with the raw edges serged so they don't unravel while you are stitching.
