WHOLESALE BEES, BUGS & SPRING THINGS STUDY NOTECARD

Keep or give this notecard celebrating the nature of the Salish Sea. All my notecards measure 4.25" x 5.5" (A2). My Nature Studies Series celebrate characteristics of the natural world of the Salish Sea. This is a depiction of some of the many flying and crawling creatures that captured my attention on the first day of spring the year I lived on the side of a mountain on a small off-grid island in the Salish Sea. Going outside for an armload of wood for the stove, I noticed the ground buzzed with living creatures awake from a winters sleep. I brought my paints and paper outside to enjoy the sun and the company, depicting each creature that approached me that first sunny day of the season. As always, at least 10% of sales (more when I can manage it) are donated to indigenous organizations and local nonprofits working to restore our Salish Sea.
