Description
Designed by Bloomist, these simple hand crafted trays are made from local terra cotta clay by artisans at the Atuto Group in Honduras exclusively for us. Available in sizes Small through XXX-Large, each tray is whitewashed by hand after being fired. We recommend repotting plants from plastic containers into terra cotta pots to improve drainage and aeration of the soil. Studio Planters sold separately. Also available in Greenwash. ABOUT ATUTO A former Peace Corps volunteer from North Carolina, Holland Millis has worked with skilled craft-workers in Honduras for decades; his work there for Aid to Artisans merited coverage in the New York Times.
