Bag made according to an ancestral technique called Aari. This is a traditional Indian embroidery originally made with gold threads and precious stones. In the 15th century it was reserved for the ceremonial clothes of the Mughal courts. Today, this profession survives among small communities in various Indian regions and especially in northern India. This work is done entirely by hand and mainly by men on an embroidery loom.
