These unique fair-trade ornaments represents the screech owl. Our first models were dark and white. The newest models closely represent the actual red and grey versions of the eastern screech owl. Any of these owl ornaments with their own personality will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror or adding a colorful touch to another part of your home. This ornaments were woven with chambira palm fiber by native artisans from the Peruvian Amazon. The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. These owls were made artisans from the campesino village of San Francisco on the Maranon River. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plants used to make it. Models: ORB049 (light and dark versions); ORB137 (red and grey versions)
