Our Fresh Detox flavor is a green tea blend with fresh and slightly sweet taste. The organic mint and lemongrass provide the fresh notes. There is a little bit of licorice in it — hence the slightly sweetish taste. For green tea, the leaves of the tea plant are steamed immediately after picking. In Sri Lanka, where all our quality tea comes from and is hand-picked by our tea pickers who earn a fair salary, they call this “blow dry”. As a result, the tea leaves do not oxidize too much and remain green. This keeps the taste soft and fresh. 40 grams of loose leaf tea per pack. So one package is good for 80 cups of tea.
