It is here that our water begins its journey, having been laid down as snow before turning to ice then water. Frozen in time, the glacier slowly releases its hidden source of pristine untouched water. Brought down by the force of gravity, the still icy water travels towards the ocean through prehistoric lava rock, filtered to create a water that is naturally alkaline, low in total dissolved solids and arguably the purest in the world. Our team collects just 1% of the water flowing naturally from glacier to ocean at our source at Mið-Mörk. The rest continues its journey to the ocean untouched, as part of the glacier's endless process of accumulation and regeneration.
