Wooden model kit inspired by the Exacedron Abscisus Vacuus, one of the polyhedra illustrated by Leonardo da Vinci in the De Divina Proportione. The shape, formed by 'cutting away' the edges of a regular cube, is built from 24 triangle segments, 24 square segments, and 48 angular joints, all made of laser-cut birch plywood. Assembly requires PVA glue (such as Vinavil) for the faces, while the joints fit together without glue. Once completed, the model becomes a light and fascinating sculpture.
