Wholesale Double Suspended Circle Necklace — Aluminum from War Ordnance

Two irregular rings, suspended one below the other. Aluminum melted and hand-worked in the village of Ban Naphia, Laos — the most heavily bombed country in history per capita. The metal comes from unexploded ordnance from the Vietnam War, recovered through demining operations coordinated with UXOLAO. Mr. Phet and Thone melt the aluminum using the sand flask casting technique. Each ring is born from a mold shaped on the ground: therefore no piece is identical, and the slightly irregular edges are the signature of the process, not a flaw.
