Wholesale Cravings for Fruit Strawberries

PREPARATION We always use seasonal fruit, at the right level of ripeness. We wash the strawberries and cook them over low heat, adding sugar and lemon juice. We bring the mixture to a boil and let it thicken (without using thickeners), to obtain a product with a velvety, non-gelatinous consistency. PAIRINGS It can be enjoyed for breakfast or a snack, on toast or bread, as is traditional. Perfect for filling cakes, tarts, crepes, cookies, brioches, croissants, or for decorating cheesecakes, desserts, and ice creams. Also excellent paired with semi-aged salty pecorino or other cheeses. EXPIRATION Preferably consume within 3 years from packaging. Once opened, store in the fridge for a maximum of 7 days.
