Our 5.5-inch bowls are great everyday bowls. These bowls will be the ones you reach for all throughout the day, from cereal to soup to sides. Made from high-fire porcelain, our bowls are both oven-safe and freezer-safe. The clean and simple design makes it an easy choice for almost all occasions. A note on packaging: We've taken great care in new packaging methods to remove all styrofoam and bubble wrap from the packaging to be friendlier to the environment. What's in it: High-fire porcelain. What's not in it: Lead and plastics of any kind. It's all good: This product is oven-safe to 350°F, microwave-safe, and freezer-safe. Made in China. Dispersed heat from the kiln area is captured and diverted into two uses: 1) As heat to dry the wet, newly-formed clay bodies to prepare them for firing 2) For use in electricity generation to fuel the co-generation plant that runs the air conditioning for the offices.
