An original set of Christmas ornaments, these tiny <i>retablos</i> celebrate the birth of Jesus. Retablos were originally intended as altar pieces featuring different scenes from the Bible. Alejandro Chavez handcrafts the miniature nativity scenes from plaster of Paris. Each character is shaped and painted individually and painted with bright hues.

I really love everything that I ordered, but sent almost all of it back. The prices on their website are just above wholesale and there is no way to mark items up high enough to make any kind of profit. I may order again if their website prices are more in line.
