My backyard garden brings me so much joy, and it gives me a real relationship with the flowers that I paint. Growing them myself and watching every stage of their development helps me study them in a deeper way. For this painting, I paired one of my blush pink peonies with a vintage blue and white vase that my mom gave me. I remember seeing it in my childhood home and now I enjoy styling it in my own way. My original acrylic painting is reproduced as a canvas wrap print. The canvas comes ready to hang. It's 1.25 inches deep with white edges and the back is open. Canvas is a poly-cotton blend and is wrapped around a light pine wood frame.
