Our classic 8” taper candle in golden toffee, is perfect for adding a poetic atmosphere to your creative work, intimate gatherings, and personal rituals. Their very subtle honey scent is naturally present in the beeswax, and is unobtrusive. Beeswax burns cleans and bright and is virtually dripless, although all candles should be burned on a heat-resistant surface, and away from drafts if the wick starts to flicker. They are made only of 100% local beeswax and an unbleached cotton wick, and are hand-dipped in small batches in my garden studio. All of our candles are packaged in FCS certified and recyclable or compostable materials. Burn time: 7-8 hours each . ... . FOR THE IDEAL BURN To get the most out of your candle, trim the wick to 1/4” before each lighting. Always burn in a draft-free area, with a secure candle-holder. Beeswax candles are virtually dripless, but if your candle is dripping or your wick is flickering, it’s likely that either your wick is too long, or your candle is in a draft. This classic taper can be lit for any amount of time, from short periods like a brief meditation, or over a long dinner.
